Yes your donations are tax-deductible. We are an official 501(c)(3) and are recognized by the IRS as such.

Your donation will be used to fund events, purchase necessary material, and ultimately fund our first conservation easement on a piece of land.

Candid awards seals of varying tiers to nonprofits who disclose incrementally more information regarding operatitons and finances. Due to our newly founded status we have not filed our first 990 and have very little to disclose.
In order to become a member we request that you purchase our one time membership option on the bottom of the page. The purchase amount is 20 USD. If you select the "Purchase Membership" button but donate less than 20 USD you have not met the requirements to be a member. We kindly ask that you reach out to our treasurer to correct the situation.
To access our Members Only page please press the button titled Member Access Request. You will be redirected to a form and once you fill it you will be added as soon as it is reviewed.
Anyone can become involved and/or a member. We need help everywhere so if you have any skills you'd like to put to use and be highlighted in a reference letter we'd gladly accept the help.
We do not accept in-kind donations because we want to keep Haven Guard as lean as possible. In order to accept said donations we’d have to agree on a storage facility and properly hold and record the items until usage.
As grateful as we would be to recieve donations of all kinds we simply don't have the bandwidth to keep up with that at this stage.
You may absolutely donate in honor of anyone or anything. We will also post it on our social media page if appropriate.
Our nonprofit uses Givebutter to manage donations and fundraising. Givebutter is securely powered by Stripe. Stripe powers transaction processing for companies of all sizes across the nation including Amazon, Google, and Uber.
It is extremely secure and we do not have access to any personal banking information. We only see an attached name, and corresponding transaction number.
